I finally started a blog - now what?

One of the items on my bucket list is to become a published author. For whatever reason, I love words, and I am always impressed when someone can put words together in such a way that I actually feel something when I read them. So I figured, if I'm going to write a book someday, I should get my feet wet with blogging first. If I hate blogging or can't commit to it, then I may need to re-think this whole writing-a-book thing. As much as I love words, I get bored very easily when I'm faced with doing ONE task for a long period of time. One of my first jobs as a youngster was at a bottling plant. My job was to take off the labels of the bottles coming down the conveyor belt. I lasted about 5 minutes doing that until I called my mom to tell her that maybe that whole going-to-college thing wasn't such a bad idea after all. So we'll see how this blogging thing goes. Goodness knows it's bound to be more interesting than bottle labels. Stay tuned...
